Malaysia: Shares close lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.44 points to 1,714.42.

Volume was 1.800 billion lots worth RM2.095 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 613 to 286.
