MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7 points to 1,776.66.

Volume was 2.011 billion lots worth RM 1.921billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 517 to 337.
