Malaysia: Shares close lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 15.790 points to 1,661.390.

Volume was 1.404 billion lots worth RM1.817 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 533 to 265.
