Malaysia: Shares end higher on Thursday

MALAYSIAN shares ended higher on Thursday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 11.69 points to close at 1,621.62.

Some 1.86 billion lots, valued at RM2.21 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 714 while losers numbered 217.
