Malaysia: Shares end slightly higher

Malaysian shares closed slightly higher on Friday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 1.83 points to 1,661.89.
Some 2.97 billion lots, valued at RM1.96 billion, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 441 to 426.
