Malaysian shares closed slightly lower on Monday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping 1.64 points to 1,664.07.
Some 2.61 billion lots, valued at RM1.97 billion, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 455 to 412.
