Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

Malaysia share prices edged up on Friday morning with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.37 points to 1,796.4 points.
Volume was 40.3 million lots worth RM 19.6 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 117 to 69.
