Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.9 points to 1,640.43.
Volume was 79.4 million lots worth RM45.5 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 165 to 82.
