    Malaysia share prices rose on Friday morning with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.93 points to 1,740.69 points.

    Volume was 34 million lots worth RM18.9 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 112 to 61.
