Malaysia: Shares open higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.24 points to 1661.87.

Volume was 17.3 million lots worth RM14.8 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 90 to 39.
