Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

Malaysian shares opened higher on Thursday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 2.22 points to 1,658.72.
Some 217.4 million lots, valued at RM50.45 million, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 199 to 60.
