Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices open higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.600 points to 1726.340.
Volume was 110.1 million lots worth RM50.99 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 197 to 43.
