    MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.21 points to 1714.40.

    Volume was 34.19 million lots worth RM13.41 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 127 to 36.
