Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.460 points to 1,720.500.
Volume was 24.04 million lots worth RM9.66 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 95 to 35.
