Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.53 points to 1,734.14.
Volume was 92.53 million lots worth RM27.6 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 88 to 78.
