Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

Malaysian shares opened higher on Friday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.74 points to 1,660.17.
Some 73.6 million lots, valued at RM17.6 million, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 114 to 83.
