Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.720 points to 1686.480.
Volume was 30.8 million lots worth RM8.59 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 101 to 51.
