Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.76 points to 1,712.77.
Volume was 28.06 million lots worth RM8.92 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 52 to 46.
