Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.85 points to 1718.44.
Volume was 27 million lots worth RM10.3 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 91 to 59.
