    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.740 points to 1722.460.

    Volume was 36.8 million lots worth RM9.31 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 68 to 60.
