    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.29 points to 1,853.78 as at 9.02am.

    Volume was 80.51 million lots worth RM42.99 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 129 to 87.
