MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.04 points to 1747.25.

Volume was 16.44 million lots worth RM3.91 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 48 to 47.
