Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.71 points to 1678.15.

Volume was 58.9 million lots worth RM14.1 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 114 to 111.
