Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.780 points to 1,658.610.

Volume was 19.5 million lots worth RM8 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 78 to 49.
