    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.74 points to 1658.390.

    Volume was 47.4 million lots worth RM14.7 million.

    Losers slightly outnumbered gainers 65 to 63.
