    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.8 points to 1,769.81.

    Volume was 66.9 million lots worth RM22.8 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 84 to 54.
