    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.6 points to 1,742.60.

    Volume was 118.45 million lots worth RM27.5 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 95 to 72.
