Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.04 points to 1719.

Volume was 44.1 million lots worth RM23.9 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 82 to 68.
