Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.07 points to 1695.57.
Volume was 131.64 million lots worth RM34 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 97 to 93.
