Malaysia: Shares open slightly lower on Monday

Shanghai should lead China's plans to reform and advance innovation, the official Xinhua news agency has reported President Xi Jinping as saying at the annual meeting of parliament.

MALAYSIA share prices open slightly down on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.930 points to 1706.590.

Volume was 68.7 million lots worth RM16.5 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 117 to 77.
