Malaysia: Shares open slightly lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices open slightly lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.700 points to 1687.140.

Volume was 51.16 million lots worth RM23.30 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 99 to 55.
