Malaysia: Stocks end the day higher

Malaysian shares closed higher on Thursday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 7.63 points to 1,637.93.
Some 1.76 billion lots, valued at RM1.39 billion were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 371 to 370.
