Malaysia: Stocks finish the day higher

    Malaysian shares closed higher on Friday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 14.34 points to end 1,706.540.

    Some 2.46 billion lots, valued at RM2.84 billion were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 567 to 305.
