    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.79 points to 1728.43.

    Volume was 62.4 million lots worth RM15.8 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 167 to 55.
