Seoul: Shares edge down, won flat as markets await Fed decision

[SEOUL] South Korean shares edged down on Wednesday as investors adopted a wait-and-see stance ahead of the US Federal Reserve policy decision later in the day.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) ended down 0.1 per cent at 2,042.51 points.
The won closed local trade flat at 1,131.0 to the dollar, unchanged from the previous close.
