Seoul: Won weakens on dollar demand, stock sales

[SEOUL] The South Korean won closed onshore trade weaker on Thursday, on importers' dollar demand and as market participants sold the local currency after recent stock sales.
The won was quoted at 1,158.2 to the dollar at the conclusion of onshore trade, down 0.3 per cent compared with Wednesday's close of 1,154.9.
