Singapore share prices rise with STI up 0.8%

SHARE prices in the local bourse ended higher on Monday with the key Straits Times Index up 22.05 points or 0.8 per cent at 2,831.28.
Some 860 million shares worth S$809 million were done. Gainers outpaced losers with 212 counters up and 191 counters down.
