SINGAPORE stocks ended 0.1 per cent lower on Monday, with the Straits Times Index falling 3.32 points to 3,310.8.
The blue-chip index was weighed down by falls in OCBC, DBS, Genting Singapore and CapitaLand, against rises in UOB, Singtel, Ascendas Reit and CapitaLand Mall Trust.
About 3.26 billion shares worth S$958 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.29 per share.
The most actively traded counter was Swee Hong, which rose S$0.005 to S$0.023 with 221.9 million shares changing hands. Other actives included Rowsley and Advanced System.
Losers outnumbered gainers 264 to 185.
