THE Straits Times Index finished 11.55 points or 0.4 per cent higher at 3,351.33. The firmer closing was fuelled by optimism over Greece's debt situation and a mildly higher closing on Wall Street overnight.
Turnover stood at 1.4 billion shares worth S$1.05 billion. Gainers led losers with 273 counters up and 163 counters down.
