Singapore shares close 1.5% lower on Friday

SINGAPORE shares closed lower on Friday with the key Straits Times Index losing 47.02 points or 1.45 per cent to 3,202.5.
Turnover stood at 1.9 billion shares worth S$2.2 billion with 135 counters up and 323 counters down.
