Singapore: Shares close lower on Monday

    SINGAPORE share prices closed lower on Monday with the Straits Times Index down 14.36 points to 3,421.30.

    Volume was 1.07 billion shares worth S$1.28 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 224 to 214.
