Singapore shares close up 0.12% on Monday

LOCAL equities were once more up on Monday, after getting a boost from export figures on Nov 17.
The benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) ticked up by 4.21 points, or 0.12 per cent, to 3,386.59.
But the relief was uneven, as losers still outnumbered gainers on the bourse, 279 to 150.
A winner for the day was Singapore Airlines, hot off its October operating results. The carrier added S$0.14 or 1.33 per cent, to S$10.68.
