Singapore: Shares end higher

SINGAPORE shares end higher on Thursday.

The Straits Times Index gained 16.42 points to 3,243.65.

Some 1.17 billion shares, valued at S$1.23 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 220 while losers numbered 169.
