Singapore: Shares end lower

SINGAPORE shares ended lower on Tuesday with the Straits Times Index slipping 3.82 points to 3,341.07.

Some 1.39 billion shares, valued at S$1.18 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 164 while losers numbered 226.
