Singapore shares open 0.1 per cent down on Thursday
SINGAPORE stocks opened 0.1 per cent lower on Thursday, with the Straits Times Index losing 3.57 points to 3,321.5 as at 9.02 am.
About 129.8 million shares worth S$52.6 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.41 per share.
The most actively traded counter was Rowsley, which rose S$0.018 to S$0.159 with 36.6 million shares changing hands. Other actives included Jiutian Chemica and Hu An Cable.
Gainers outnumbered losers 89 to 46, or about two up for every one down.
