Singapore shares open 0.27% down on Tuesday
SINGAPORE shares opened lower on Tuesday, with the Straits Times Index slipping 0.27 per cent, or 8.7 points, to 3,255.51 as at 9.02am.
Gainers outnumbered losers 94 to 63, or about three up for every two down, after 81.8 million shares worth S$80.6 million changed hands.
Noble Group remained actively traded, easing 1.7 per cent or one Singapore cent to 58 Singapore cents.
Among blue chips, OCBC Bank gained 0.3 per cent, or 3 Singapore cents, to S$10.65 while DBS Group Holdings added 0.2 per cent, or 5 Singapore cents, to S$20.82.
