Singapore shares open 19.5 points lower on Monday

SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Monday, with the Straits Times Index (STI) down 19.49 points to 2,814.6 points as at 9.02 am.
Some 161 million shares worth S$54.4 million changed hands, with losers outnumbering gainers 69 to 59.
Banking stocks OCBC Bank, DBS and UOB were among the top losers.
