Singapore shares open higher on Monday

SINGAPORE share prices opened higher on Monday with the Straits Times Index up 8.52 points to 3,183.63 at 9.01am.

Volume was 83.2 million shares worth S$140.4 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 92 to 43.
