SINGAPORE's benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) opened higher at 3,192.49 at 9.02am on Thursday, up 1.1 points or 0.03 per cent. Some 57.6 million shares worth S$69.6 million changed hands. But losers slightly outnumbered gainers 68 to 66.
