Singapore shares open lower on Monday

THE Straits Times Index opened 0.61 per cent, or 18.18 points, down at 2,980.17 on Monday morning, following Wall Street's lower close on Friday.
By 9.02am, 59.9 million shares worth S$54.5 million had changed hands, with gainers lagging losers 56 to 81.
Top traded stocks by value straight out the gate included Singtel, DBS, Global Logistic Properties, CapitaLand and OCBC Bank.
